The weekend

So strangely warm the day,
Feeling to be like those never known
But always seen from outside, passing mannequins

Though this winter’s day is close and full and already gone with still an afternoon to pass
Crave coffee to whet my imagination into deep sleep

There is that new one outside the old, a larger protector
That knitwear suits you and the room shrinks to fit in the whole wide world
Underskin fills with blood
A thought can change your day, your life
Turn to face the compass points and
Suck dry all nearby and through those all else

Another day: cage doors released into the wild once-zoo
Not to mention any more.
